Scholz & Friends gains Axel Leyck as new Head of Film
As Head of Film, Axel Leyck (43) will be responsible for purchasing of external resources and management of the in-house film units at all Scholz & Friends Group sites from mid May 2018.
His tasks will concern in particular the expansion of the moving images are, development of new formats and tapping new areas of business. He brings with him an impressive breadth of experience in the automotive sector, thus far for Audi and Lamborghini, that he will leverage on behalf of Scholz & Friends client Opel.

To take on this new role, Leyck will be leaving Philipp and Keuntje after 15 years, where he led a 12-person team. Prior to that he was active in the film unit at Kolle Rebbe as Head of TV. During his time as freelance producer, he also completed training as a fiction producer at the Filmhaus Köln. Over the years he has worked for such clients as Astra, Deutsche Bank, Jägermeister, Neff, Sennheiser and Telekom. He will be replacing Christoph Köhler, who is leaving the agency at the end of March.
