Celebrated International Creative Jens Petter Wærnes joins Scholz & Friends

Scholz & Friends fills a top creative position for its new client McDonald’s with the internationally distinguished top creative Jens Petter Wærnes. He will also drive creative campaign development for selected international clients.

After three years at Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco and more than six years at BBDO in New York, the native Norwegian has been on board at Scholz & Friends as Executive Creative Director since the beginning of the year. The multiple Cannes Gold winner has comprehensively managed global brands such as AT&T, FedEx, Gillette, Guinness, Pepsi, Snickers, Subway and VISA in the United States, and now brings this international experience to Scholz & Friends. At Goodby Silverstein & Partners, he most recently had full creative responsibility for Comcast, one of the world’s largest telecommunications providers.

Jens Petter Wærnes’ work has been recognized with the highest honors at all international award shows. Among others, he has won multiple gold medals at Cannes and the Grand Prix at the Youtube Awards. One of his works has been included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
